Chris Cothran

Chris proudly served 21 years in the United States Air Force as a Computer Programmer and Leader, where he developed technical expertise, led diverse teams, and had the opportunity to see the world. His Air Force career took him across the globe—from Germany, France, and Austria to Australia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, and Iraq—experiences that deepened his appreciation for different cultures and global collaboration.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the Community College of the Air Force, blending a strong technical foundation with business insight and leadership experience.

 

Originally from the small town of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, Chris now resides in Marion, South Carolina, where he enjoys small-town life with his wife, Beth, of 33 years. Together, they’ve raised two children, Christopher and Mary Claire, and continue to value family, community, and lifelong learning.

 

Outside of work, Chris enjoys surfing, fishing, and has recently started taking piano lessons. He’s also an avid Jeep enthusiast, embracing the camaraderie and adventure of that culture.
