Julie Linton
Executive Consultant
Julie is a seasoned contracts professional with over a decade of experience spanning government and industry. She began her contracting career at Buckley Air Force Base through the prestigious Copper Cap Internship Program, where she served as a civilian for the U.S. Air Force and discovered a passion for working alongside the military. During her time at Buckley, she gained hands-on experience across diverse contracting areas, including Government Purchase Card operations, services, and construction.
Eager to broaden her expertise, Julie volunteered to deploy as a civilian in support of the war effort, spending a year at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, where she developed valuable contingency contracting experience. Following her deployment, she joined CACI to support the U.S. Forest Service’s Emergency Recovery Operations Center, contributing to post-disaster recovery efforts.
Soon after, Julie accepted a contracting position with the National Park Service (NPS), where she spent several rewarding years managing complex contracts and supporting the mission of protecting our nation’s parks and natural treasures. When the opportunity arose to transition to the industry side of contracting as a Contracts Manager for a defense contractor, she embraced the challenge—gaining firsthand experience navigating corporate acquisitions and expanding her understanding of business operations from a contractor’s perspective.
In 2016, Julie found her true calling in contracts consulting, joining Arrowhead Solutions to support small businesses pursuing and managing government contracts. She quickly developed a passion for helping entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of federal acquisition processes—from proposal development and subcontract management to compliance and contract administration.
Now part of the Glenn Consulting team, Julie continues her mission of empowering small businesses to grow and succeed in the government contracting space. Her career offers true cradle-to-grave contracting expertise, blending the insight of a former government contracting officer with the practical experience of an industry contracts manager.
Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Production Management from Utah State University and holds an MBA in Procurement and Acquisition Management from Webster University.
Originally from Utah and Colorado, she now calls Aurora, Colorado home. Outside of work, she enjoys a quiet life with her beloved Havanese rescue pup, Roca Rose. An avid sports enthusiast, she previously played co-ed indoor soccer, ran local races, and enjoyed tennis, basketball, and golf. After recovering from an ACL injury, she now enjoys Colorado’s sunshine through bike rides, walks, and gardening.
