With over seven years of executive leadership experience and a career spanning defense, technology, and consulting sectors, Whitney is recognized as a conceptual architect and connector of people, resources, and entrepreneurial ideas—shaping creative, mutually beneficial business arrangements that deliver sustainable growth.

 

A proven change agent and creative leader through complex and challenging circumstances, Whitney has led organizations through transformative periods, achieving measurable results. As CEO of a publicly listed multinational company, she doubled revenues and earnings by implementing targeted cost reduction measures, realigning strategy toward high-growth markets, and restoring underperforming portfolios to profitability—recovering more than $150 million in earnings.

 

At Hanwha Defense USA, Whitney established and led the U.S. operations of a top-tier international defense company, developing compliant, efficient business systems and managing a diverse portfolio of corporate functions spanning contracts, compliance, operations, and technology. Through cross-functional leadership and strategic negotiation, she shaped a high-performance environment that supported scalable growth and long-term market success.

 

Currently serving as the founder of Lambent Global, Whitney provides on-demand CEO, COO, and strategic advisory services to startups and small-cap companies across the United States, Australia, South Africa, and Angola. In this role, she partners with business leaders to strengthen organizational structure, operational performance, and strategic partnerships in dynamic and evolving markets.

 

Whitney’s career includes nearly a decade with BAE Systems, where she advanced through leadership roles in contracts, business operations, and financial management—earning recognition for innovative solutions to complex challenges, process improvement initiatives, and international market development.

 

Whitney holds a B.B.A. in Corporate Finance and Investments from East Tennessee State University, and completed executive programs in Strategic Decision & Risk Management at Stanford University and Procurement & Contracts Management at the University of Virginia.

 

A Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) and active leader in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Whitney serves on the Board of Advisors, mentors through the NCMA Leadership Development Program, and contributes to both Contract Management Magazine and the Journal of Contract Management.

 

In addition to her professional pursuits, Whitney is a 300-hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher, trained in trauma-focused yoga and meditation for military communities—reflecting a holistic approach to leadership, resilience, and well-being.
